AP Art History

Prepare for your AP Art History school year!

Rome  -  Paris  -  London

AP Art History is traditionally offered to high school senior students. There are over 250 required works of art that must be studied prior to taking the exam. Divided by 8 months of study, this forces AP Art History students to study 32 pieces a month, while also juggling  other courses through out the school year!

"AP Art History is an introductory college-level art history course. Students cultivate their understanding of art history through analyzing works of art and placing them in historical context as they explore concepts like culture and cultural interactions, theories and interpretations of art, the impact of materials, processes, and techniques on art and art making, and understanding purpose and audience in art historical analysis."- College Board

This AP Art History supplemental enrichment course offers students three weeks in Europe to become familiar with the AP Art History course curriculum,  practice in taking the exam, and the ability to see many of the art pieces and remember their significance -in person!
